August Cigar of the Month: My Father Flor de las Antillas Maduro
August 01, 2026 until August 31, 2026
A new treasure comes ashore for August.
The My Father Flor de las Antillas Maduro is our Cigar of the Month — "flower of the Antilles," named by the Garcia family for the Caribbean islands, the same warm water our whole flag is borrowed from. Don Pepín and his son Jaime roll it at their own factory in Estelí, Nicaragua, from tobacco grown on their own farms. Jaime built the blend as a tribute to his father — the whole house took the name My Father because of it. The original Toro was crowned Cigar Aficionado's Cigar of the Year in 2012. This is the Maduro: same soul, darker sail, wrapped in an oily Ecuadorian leaf aged to the color of french roast. Cigar Aficionado gave it a 92.

It sits beside this month's coffee, the Turtle Latte — pecan, dark chocolate, and caramel in the cup, cocoa and cedar in the smoke.
